Gorodki

*Gorodki (little cities) is an ancient sport played in Russia. As a modern sport having uniform rules, Gorodki were generated by 1923. The basic aim of the game is to remove skittles presented in 15 different figures from a designated area at the playing field by throwing a bat at them. Gorodki is most often played in teams. Famous people who played it include Alexander Suvorov the great general, Ivan Pavlov the biologist and Vladimir Lenin the revolutionary.
